A picturesque and
short double dogleg
Par 5 best describes
hole number 3. Placement
and accuracy are
required to achieve
par with birdies
opportunities being
low and eagle opportunities
being achieved only
by a truly great
second golf shot.
This double dogleg
begins from elevated
tees nestled among
mature pines and
birch which overlook
the first landing
area. The landing
area is guarded
on the left by two
sand bunkers which
also act as a visual
target from the
tee. The second
shot is uphill with
another bunker defining
the second landing
area. Mature deciduous
and evergreen trees
define the inside
of each dogleg.
The hole ends with
a small green guarded
by sand on the left
requiring an accurate
shot to achieve
a birdie opportunity.
The green is backed
with a few deciduous
trees and a great
view of Valentine
Lake.
