Hole number 15 begins
the sequence for
what I believe to
be the best four
finishing holes
I have ever designed
to date. This medium
length Par 3 begins
from four elevated
tees which offer
the golfer the chance
to play the hole
from several different
distances and angles,
thus requiring different
shot selections
and strategy. A
steep valley filled
with scenic wetland
separates the tees
from the green,
thus requiring a
shot which is all
carry to the green.
The green is of
medium size with
two sand bunkers
in the front corners
and attractive mound
work in the rear.
Errant shots to
the rear, front
or left will roll
down and into the
wetlands. Overall,
the hole possesses
superb natural beauty
while offering an
accurate shot a
birdie opportunity.
