The "sand"
hole best
describes
hole number
14. The hole
plays as a
long par four
which doglegs
to the right.
You begin
from four
tees and play
to a wide
landing area
defined with
sand on the
left and beautiful
trees to the
right. The
premium on
the hole is
hitting a
long and straight
iron or wood
to a slightly
uphill green
guarded by
eight large
sand bunkers.
The bunkers
are located
in deep depressions
on each side
of the approach
area (four
on each side).
The exact
bunker locations
have been
determined
so as to provide
for exciting
shape and
form with
the existing
terrain and
vegetation
while significantly
increasing
the challenge
and playability
of the hole.
Again most
golfers will
either make
the green
with an accurate
shot or face
a fancy little
sand shot
on to the
green.
